Production Information
Your image is processed using a custom ICC profile, specially created for the Procanvas production system. This ensures accurate colour and neutral black and white prints.
We use the latest wide format fine art printers, the inks are guaranteed lightfast for 75 years.
The 450gsm canvas meets the archival standards set forth by the ‘Fine Art Trade Guild’.
Our stretcher bars are finger jointed solid pine, specially manufactured for Procanvas from managed UK forests. All frames with one length over 30” have brace bars inserted.
Two coats of Museum Grade Matte, Satin or Gloss Varnish are applied. This provides protection from scuffs and moisture. You are then able to wipe the canvas with a slightly damp cloth if required. The veneer also prevents the print from cracking.
Framing tape and felt bumpers are added for a quality finish. Wooden wedges are inserted so the canvas can be re-tensioned in the future if necessary.
